Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

This Policy explains what information 52–17 Focus (the “Service”) handles and why.

1. Information stored in your browser

The Service stores tasks, the selected task, timer state, settings, focus time, completed cycles, and early-end records in localStorage. This information normally remains in the device and browser you are using and is not automatically sent to the operator’s server.

2. Information collected through feedback

If you use the feedback form, the Service collects the category you select, your message, device and browser information, and any optional reply email address you enter. This information is used to respond to inquiries, investigate problems, and improve the Service.

3. Cookies and sessions

The feedback form uses a temporary session cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery and to limit rapid repeated submissions. The cookie may remain until you close the browser or the session expires.

4. Server logs

The web server may record IP addresses, access times, requested URLs, and browser information for operation, troubleshooting, and security.

5. Email and external services

Feedback is sent through Xserver’s mail function to the operator’s inbox. Xserver and Google services may process the information as part of email delivery and storage.

6. Analytics and advertising

At present, the Service does not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising services are introduced, this Policy will be updated and consent will be obtained where required.

7. Purposes of use

8. Disclosure to third parties

Personal information is not provided to third parties except where required by law, with your consent, or where necessary to protect life, safety, or property. Information may be sent to hosting and email providers to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

9. Retention

Browser data may remain until you delete the site’s browser data. Feedback and emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for support, incident investigation, spam prevention, and operational records.

10. Deletion and contact

You can delete browser data through your browser’s site-data controls. Questions or requests concerning feedback information may be sent through the feedback page. Requests may not be fulfilled where identity cannot be verified or retention is required for legal or security reasons.

11. Security

Reasonable safeguards such as input validation, CSRF protection, submission-rate limits, and encrypted communication are used. No method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated when features, external services, or laws change. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.
