How TEAM POP! processes and stores information.
Team data
Names, number of teams, separation rules, team labels and grouping results are saved in local storage in your browser. The team generator does not transmit these details to our server for grouping. You can use participant numbers or aliases instead of real names.
Local storage and deletion
Data is stored so that you can return to the app using the same browser. You can remove it using “Clear saved data on this device” or by clearing the site data in your browser. Clear saved data when using a shared device. Private browsing and some browser settings may disable storage.
Contact form
The contact form requires a message. Your name and email address are optional. Submitted information is emailed to the site operator and used to respond to inquiries where possible, manage feedback and reduce abusive submissions. Include an email address if you would like a reply.
Cookies and access logs
The contact form uses a session cookie for submission verification and to restrict rapid repeated submissions. The hosting provider may also retain access logs such as IP address, request time, and browser information.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page views and app interactions such as team generation, reshuffling, swapping, and printing. Cookies or similar technologies may be used. Our custom analytics events never include participants' names, team names, group assignments, separation rules, or contact messages. We also use Google AdSense to serve ads; Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Sharing and printing
Sharing buttons for X, Facebook and LINE share only the public app URL, not participant names, separation rules or team results. Printing and saving a PDF use your browser’s built-in printing features.
Handling of submitted information
Contact information is handled only as needed to respond to inquiries and will be deleted when no longer needed. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Hosting and email delivery providers may process information as necessary; legal obligations may also apply.
