About the service
SEAT POP! is a free, no-sign-up web tool for creating seating charts and randomly assigning seats for classrooms and gatherings. Layouts and results are provided as a convenience.
Responsible use
Follow your school or organization’s rules and privacy requirements. Avoid entering unnecessary personal information, especially children’s names. Consider using student numbers or aliases.
Shuffling and seating rules
Seating assignments are generated in the browser. The app checks conditions such as assigned seats and front-row preferences where feasible, but does not guarantee suitability for individual circumstances or a particular seating outcome. Please review and adjust the result as needed.
Data and backups
Data is stored locally in your browser and may be lost if your browser settings change or website data is cleared. Print or save a PDF if you need a copy. Clear local data when using a shared device.
Prohibited conduct
Do not infringe the rights of others, overload the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit abusive inquiries, or otherwise interfere with its normal operation.
Disclaimer and changes
We make reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim liability for losses arising from use of the tool. The service may be changed or discontinued without prior notice.
